The Problem of Obesity


In today's world people tend to live at a high speed. It often happens they miss some important things and in the course of time it leads to large problems. One of them is obesity that has become a number one problem for many people. But the highest number of overweight people is in USA. The latest survey shows that 65% of Americans have this problem: the body mass index of 120 million people is more than 24.9.

Overweight people suffer from hypertension, diabetes, stroke and heart disease. Getting fit has become very important for Americans. There are different methods: health clubs and pills, surgery, hypnosis and so on. All overweight people want to get thinner but only few can do it.

There are some important aspects the overweight people must pay attention to. One of them is a balanced diet. It doesn't mean that you must pass up ice cream, meat, or other fatty stuff, but you should eat them adequately. But people tend to get addicted to some food and eat it in large amounts. And that is bad. If you eat too much it results in fat stored in your body. The worst thing is when people eat too much junk food.

Then you should increase this period up to 30 minutes. It will help you to be you healthy and burn the calories in the body. The risks of obesity will be reduced. One of the factors leading to the obesity is stress. A lot of people tend to eat much more when they feel stressed. Living in constant stress make people addicted to food as it seems to eliminate it. Sleeping pattern can lead to obesity, too . If you sleeps less than 6 hours and do not have a sleeping pattern, you can wake up in the middle of the night feeling hungry. Eating in the middle of the night is a terribly bad idea.
